Guglhupf Snow Globe

Things that shaped our childhood: Snow globes and Guglhupf, a cake that has as many legends as grannies have recipes for it: some say the 3 kings made a cake shaped like their turbans for their hosts in Germany. The French believe, Guglhupf has its origin in Ribeauvillé, where they celebrate a Guglhupf- Festival each June and others suggest that Marie Antoinette brought the cake from Vienna to the French court – didn't prevent her from being beheaded, though.
